Lesson Guide

Level 10 · Q & Y
01

Q is your left pinky’s top-row reach. It is the least common letter in English — but mastering it locks in pinky control.

02

Y is typed by the right index finger stretching rightward from J — the same motion as reaching for H, but up one row.

03

The full top row is almost yours. You can now type virtually every common English word using only home and top rows.

04

In sentences, read two or three words ahead of where your fingers are. This is what separates fast typists from slow ones.

05

Quality over speed. A sentence typed accurately at 30 WPM builds better habits than a sloppy 60 WPM burst.
